“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
(George Bernard Shaw)
Our mental, emotional, or social growth stems from our childhood games and even continues in rest of our life. Happiness, our gift since birth, may increase due to having wise and capable parents. We may still be happy throughout our life. Its persistence is bounded to keep entertainments-responsibilities balance. Children learn from playing games but the same procedure should not be followed in their adulthood. Therefore, balance is a must in this process.
Healthy, sufficient, and responsible entertainments play an important role in our wellbeing. They also improve our physical, mental, emotional conditions during adulthood. In fact, entertainments oil the wheels of wellbeing.
Overindulgence in entertainment leads to addiction and unhealthy dependence. On the other hand, scarcity of entertainments results in depression and dissatisfaction with life. Balance in entertainments harmonizes our inner child with our mature self.
